
The Threshing Show has been put on by the Tennessee-Kentucky Threshermen's Association in Adams, Tennessee, since 1970. The show features steam traction engines, gas engines, antique tractors, wheat threshing, a sawmill, antique farm equipment, tractor pulls, arts & crafts, music, square dancing, a flea market, and much more. It is held on Friday and Saturday of the third weekend of July every year. Kay-Gee 1875 has been there for every show. The Call of the Whistle was filmed at the 32nd annual show in 2001.

Adams, Tennessee is about a 45 minute drive northwest of Nashville. The easiest way to get there is from I-24's exit 11. From the Interstate drive east on Highway 76 which ends at US Highway 41. Turn right on Highway 41 and look for the show on the left.
