Bonin Island (November 20, 1944)
This mission only appears in Mr. Lind's mission list found on a framed picture he sent to all the crew of the Star Duster that he could locate in the late 1990s. I have found no other reference to this mission. The Bonin Islands are a group of over 30 islands located between Saipan and Japan. Iwo Jima is part of the Bonin Island group. It may have been that this was a training or shake down mission.
